  • Couples or pairs can choose a private cabin room or share with others.
  • Small groups or friends—just book together. Shared cabins/decks are typical.
  • Families—our boat options family rooms or shared cabins

Regulation: See Komodo dragon

  • Do not get too close: Keep a safe distance from the Komodo dragons. Komodo dragons can be aggressive and move quickly.
  • Don’t shout or run: loud noises or sudden movements can startle the Komodo dragon and trigger an aggressive reaction.
  • Please don’t feed: Feeding Komodo dragons can habituate them to humans and may cause them to become aggressive.
  • Don’t climb trees: Komodo dragons may chase you
  • Don’t make sudden movements: Sudden movements can startle dragons and trigger an aggressive reaction.
  • Don’t touch dragons: on land or in the sea.
  • Do not stay alone: always stay with a tour guide, and do not go alone in the Komodo dragon area.
  • Menstruating women must report: You must report to the guide or attendant for special supervision.
  • Do not wear red-colored clothing: Komodo dragons have a high sensitivity to the color red.
  • Avoid making loud noises: Komodo dragons can become aggressive

  • Sharing a Komodo package arranged by our local company in Labuan Bajo
  • All sharing trip companies will work together; there are minimum and maximum participants to join the trip.
  • This program tour is sharing; you cannot get better service, like private trip
  • Maximum passengers: 18 people and a minimum of 10 people on the boat
  • The itinerary is subject to change based on local conditions the weather

Itinerary: Komodo 2-Day tour

Day 1: Lunch and Dinner on the boat

  • Estimate 09.30 – 10.30 am: Pick up hotel or airport for transfer to Labuan Bajo Harbor
  • 11.00 Sail to Kelor Island for trekking or hiking.
  • 13.00 Manjerite Beach snorkeling or swimming
  • 15.00 Kalong Island: see sunset and bats
  • 18:00 Boat to Kambing Island from Kalong-Padar. Boat overnight around at Padar Island

Day 2: Breakfast and lunch on the boat

  • 05.00 Padar Island Trekking or hiking
  • 08.00 Pink Beach or Long Beach snorkeling, swimming and walk on the beach
  • 10:00 Komodo Island: see Komodo dragon
  • 14.00 Komodo Island sail back Labuan Bajo Harbor
  • 17.00 Transfer back to the hotel, End trip

  4. You need to pay the balance in cash upon arrival.
  5. Inform us of your hotel in Labuan Bajo for the pickup time.

What cabin do we recommend to you for the (2-day) Komodo boat trip?

  • For two people or a couple, staying in a private cabin is a good option for more privacy.
  • For families with kids, sharing a cabin is a great option. Keep staying together in one room.
  • Solo travel. Stay in a shared cabin and sleep with someone of the same gender.

  1. Transfer from hotel to Harbor Labuan Bajo and back to the hotel
  2. Boats for a group (shared cabin room or private cabin room) depend on your choice.
  3. Ticket National Park Komodo and Ranger: IDR 550,000 per person
  4. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner on the boat
  5. Mineral water, coffee, and tea on the boat

Essential things to bring on the Komodo sharing tour

  • Clothing: A swimsuit, light clothing for after-water activities, and an evening outfit
  • Sun protection: Reef-safe sunscreen, a wide-brimmed hat, and polarized sunglasses
  • Footwear: Hiking sandals or shoes, or water shoes or sandals for walking on the beach
  • Toiletries: Toothbrush and other toiletries
  • Other equipment: Dry bags, wet wipes, headset or earplugs, power bank, and a hard drive for documentation
  • Personal items: Towel, identification, and cash
  • Snacks and hydration: Extra water and snacks to tide you over between meals
  • Hand sanitizer.

Cancellation policy

  • All payment refunds for cancellations made up to 7 days.
  • A 50% charge applies for cancellations within 5 days
  • A full charge is applicable for cancellations within 48 hours.

Tips snorkeling on Komodo tour

  • Always snorkel with a guide
  • Current pulls, float, don’t fight, signal the boat
  • Your own mask = better seal, less fog & hygiene
  • Swim & snorkel; always use fins or water shoes.
  • Dry snorkel recommended (waves can splash)
  • Rash guard or wetsuit (sun + jellyfish)
  • Use reef-safe sunscreen only
  • Never stand on coral (it’s alive and sharp).
  • No touching marine life (even mantas)
  • Keep distance from turtles & manta rays
  • Listen to briefings the Guide on the boat

How to stay steady:

  1. Put fins on in the water, not on the boat.
  2. Hold the side of the boat & sliding in
  3. Use the ladder (ask the captain).
  4. Fix the snorkel on the left side
  5. Wet your mask with seawater first

Back to the boat safely:

  1. Remove fins in the water.
  2. Hand them to the crew.
  3. Climb slowly using both hands.
  4. Sit on the edge of the boat.
  5. Mask and snorkel held firmly on your face
  6. One hand on mask, one on back of head
  7. Roll backward into water
  8. Open the fins in the water
  9. Get the boat from the stair
  10. Don’t walk with fins in the boat.
